Hailing from County Armagh in Northern Ireland, Tabitha Benedict could easily be mistaken for American-born and raised, but she has merely caught a musical wind from the West and made it her own. Tabitha won the IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year Award in 2020 and was also nominated as Vocalist of the Year. She performs with her husband David Benedict in their Folk/Bluegrass duo, The Foreign Landers; with him and her two brothers in the Northern Irish band, Cup O’Joe; and in the all-female Anglo-Irish bluegrass band, Midnight Skyracer.
