MBC Scholarship Programs

Work Scholarship Program

MBC’s Work Scholarships. MBC offers a few work-scholarships.  The most likely things we'll need help with is check-in, assisting at the front desk and the instrument check in room, making copies, and running errands.  Applicants must be sufficiently physically fit to carry out assigned activities. Inquire by sending an email describing your musical interests and general situation to info@midwestbanjocamp.com. Our usual arrangement is to offer $250 off your tuition total in exchange for roughly 10 hours of work (we will work with you to minimize lost class time).

Youth Scholarship Program

Youth Scholarships: for Students 25 or Under. Half-Price!! Youngsters stand to benefit considerably from exposure to top players, but often do not have enough resources to pay our tuition fees. Students who will be 25 or under at the time MBC takes place  automatically qualify for one of our 50% Youth Scholarships. To access your scholarship, simply begin filling out our registration form and near the top (under Special Registration Types), you will find a coupon code that when applied gives you the appropriate discount (namely 50% off whatever plan/options you have selected).

Note: Students under 18 at the time of camp are required to submit permissions forms (for details, see "Minor Students" on the Registration Info page).

Donate to our Youth Scholarship Program

Youngsters often get a tremendous kick start by being exposed to great players and to the exciting atmosphere of a banjo camp, but they often have trouble finding the resources to attend. In an effort to remedy this state of affairs -- and help ensure the future of the music we love -- we have established a youth scholarship fund aimed at helping to bring more folks under 25 to Camp. If you can afford to contribute $25, $50, or even $100 to this cause, please check the appropriate box on the registration form and your donation will be automatically processed. Thank you!!
